Gabriel Baum is a principal at Polynomics, a consulting company based in Chicago. He has had a distinguished career as a senior technical executive with major corporations in the United States and Europe and now specializes in translation and associated technologies.  He is the author of early computer based language teaching programs and is adjunct faculty at the University of Chicago, Graham School, where he teaches technology for translators.

ModernLanguages.com is linked to The Institute of Modern Languages (IML) in Granada, Spain.  For over 50 years, IML has been teaching English to Spanish students of all ages and providing translation services to individuals and businesses in Southern Spain.  IML is a member of the Centros de Idiomas de Andalucía (ACEIA) and the Federación Española de Centros de Enseñanza de Idiomas (FECEI)
